Super talented Nigerian female disc jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, known professionally as DJ Switch, is an Award winning Nigerian DJ, songwriter and musician who emerged as the winner of the first edition of the legendary, “The Glo X Factor” way back in 2013 at the age of 29.

Looking into her early life; was born into a Christian family and is the last child of eight children, from Udi in Enugu State, and grew up in Warri, a City in Delta State, Nigeria.

She continued her educational pursuit after she was done with her secondary school level education, to study Geology, at the prestigious Nigerian University, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, where she eventually bagged her Bsc before we went deeper into the music industry.

started her entertainment career as a disc jockey and upgraded to being a songwriter, as well as a recording artist.

She earned her first attention when her group, Da Pulse, turned out to be the winner of the 2009 edition of reality music competition, “Star Quest”. They further went on to release a hit song titled, “So Tey”, which featured multi talented American rapper, Busta Rhymes in the remix.

Her career fully kicked off after she emerged the winner of the maiden and only edition of the Glo X-Factor in 2013.

She also signed a record deal with Sony Music which was part of the prizes for the winner of the Glo X-Factor.

In an unfortunate event that happened in Nigeria, on the 20th of October 2020, live streamed the aftermath of an alleged Lekki Massacre.
